I HAVE GRACED THE SAME STAGE AS GAGA.

My summer is almost halfway done - to review:
PLUSSES:
+ have lost 10 lbs this summer
+ going to ann arbor on friday
+ decided to train for a triathlon
+ getting tan
+ road trip to new jersey in LESS THAN A MONTH
+ making a ton of cash money
+ closer with my family than ever
+ becoming a better chef
MINUSES:
- have to get up early like every day
- miss my school bitches with the passion of 1000 suns
- lifeguard one-piece bathing suit tan lines
- teaching swim lessons exhausts me... in fact, everything about my job exhausts me
- still don't have much direction in life as far as the future is concerned
mais en general, life is good.
Today at in-service, I slipped getting down from my stand into the shallow part of the pool and hit my knee, ass, and hand on the bottom of the pool, which was about 6 inches deep. I now have distinct pebble-bruises covering my body.
Kind of a metaphor of the last week.

so good. SOOO GOOD. makes my inner show choir dork squeal. canNOT wait til fall.
I think that, potentially, I may be going crazy. Or slowly turning into a suburban housewife.
Every morning I wake up at 9 to watch LIVE with Regis and Kelly and then the Ellen show while I run on the treadmill and eat breakfast. Usually then I do nothing, avoid unpacking my shit, avoid going into my parents' office, and spend the day on Facebook or googling Robert Pattinson or something. Today, I texted with my friend Sarah for awhile about how she is going equally stir-crazy, except she's in Alabama and they're having these awful storms and she lost internet so her life sucks slightly more than mine.
Jesus, I miss Ann Arbor.
I'm not ready to leave Ann Arbor and South Quad and the people who have come to be some of my closest friends.
But in 2 hours, I am.
Dearest Erin,
If you do not return due to a series of unfortunate events, then allow me to give you the post humous honor of being the craziest bitch I know.
For your information, my first-born child will be names Dakota Suzanne Ferguson. Appreciate it.
Also, you have to come visit me at Relay for Life tomorrow if you are still alive. Break me out of jail.
Love,
Joshay
PS: Lydia has your flippies.
This is the best message my white board has ever seen. I have the most amazing friends. How am I supposed to go home in 10 days?
thursday night i saw adventureland for free and before it came out. i really liked it and was surprised that the acting was not bad at all and it was both funny and kind of dramatic (i guess). plus, seeing a movie in an auditorium full of college kids makes it so much more fun because everyone boos and gasps and laughs louder than usual.
i do now hate kristen stewart because she gets to make out with robert pattinson AND ryan reynolds MULTIPLE TIMES which is just epically unfair to the rest of the women on earth.
the rest of the weekend I have been struggling to do work and crank out my business school essays when all I want to do is sleep and read and NOT worry about calculus or french or classes next semester or what i want to do with the rest of my life.
Friday, the weather was a-maaaaa-zing. I did nothing all day until three-ish, when I put on shorts and flip flops and Lydia, Josh, Andrew and I went to the Law Quad, the prettiest place on Earth, and enjoyed the sun and drew with chalk on the walkways. Then we went to the Diag, where the entire school was out enjoying the weather and throwing frisbees and then I got hit on by a guy selling packzis, one of the more awkward experiences of my life.
Then, we got dinner at Amer's and I had incredible grilled cheese and Sarah announced that she signed up for Zip Cars so we'll be able to drive to Cedar Point one day in April, and we got ice cream and then went to the Mike Birbiglia show and I laughed so hard I cried on multiple occasions.
Today I woke up and did nothing all day except a bit of reading and Calculus, and then I went to dinner at Sadako, my favorite restuarant, and had amazing sushi with my big. Then, we had a study-tank in Josh's room but ended up watching every Britney Spears video we could remember, for a good two hours. Britney, in her prime, was basically unstoppable and I will always love her.
I only drank Thursday this weekend and I have so much work to do tomorrow that it's funny, but this weekend was so damn incredible, probably the best one this semester. Ugh. I love it here.
